1. Postdoctoral researchers

We are looking for talented and highly motivated PhD students and postdoctoral scientists. Applicants for the postdoctoral position should possess a PhD in synthetic chemistry, organic chemistry, catalysis or a related field. At present quite a few positions are open for postdocs having significant experience in synthetic organic chemistry, Aspirants are invited to apply by sending a cover letter, CV, relevant publications, and contact information for at least three references to Thirupathi Barla by email (thirupathibarla@iiserbpr.ac.in).

2. Doctoral students

Students who finished their master's or perusing a master’s students currently invited to apply through the IISER Berhampur website (http://www.iiserbpr.ac.in/) for the advertisement for the PhD program (twice a year). Students joining our group will have the opportunity to gain expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, catalysis, and the total synthesis of natural products. Priority will be given to the candidates having fellowship (INSPIRE OR CSIR UGC JRF or equivalent). Institute will provide funding opportunities for outstanding candidates. Those who are joining the PhD program have to complete their coursework during their first year.
